Triton Knoll wind farm is taking offshore online thanks to a new contract with Spalding-based web developers Drive By Websites.

The local outfit has been working closely with the Triton Knoll team to provide a full suite of web services to design, build and host a brand new website for the project, which is due to go live in the coming weeks.

Project Director James Cotter said he was delighted to have the local firm join the project: “We are pleased to be able to welcome local web provider Drive By Websites on board, and are looking forward to working closely with Jack McLean and his team as Triton Knoll progresses.

Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm has pledged ‘more of the same’ in Lincolnshire, after east coast Galloper Wind Farm Ltd (GWFL)(1) today announced a new £25m contract that will generate up to 100 local jobs (2).

The Galloper contract award was made to James Fisher for offshore and marine services, and is a great example of the kind of opportunities Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm would also be able to unlock as it moves towards construction.

Triton Knoll Offshore Wind project set to benefit the local community

Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm, a major energy project being planned off the coast of Lincolnshire, will be taken forward by a new management team who will be working hand in hand with the Lincolnshire community, placing them very much at the heart of their approach.

The new team has been formed following the recently announced partnership between Statkraft and RWE Innogy, who are now joint owners of the Triton Knoll project, with Statkraft managing the development.
